This film is one of those early slasher films that doesn't get talked about as much as the big names, but it's surprisingly enjoyable. The atmosphere is probably its strongest point - the old mansion setting feels creepy and mysterious without relying too much on gore or jump scares. It takes its time building tension, which gives it a nice Halloween-night vibe. Linda Blair gives a likable lead performance, and the movie has a bit more personality than many low-budget slashers from the era. It's not trying to reinvent the genre, but it's well-paced, fun, and has enough suspense to keep you engaged. If you enjoy classic '80s horror with a spooky setting and a straightforward story, Hell Night is a solid watch. Not a masterpiece, but definitely a charming and entertaining cult horror film.
